In Jan. 2022, the Nehemiah Center received funding from FIRSTNC, NASA & Argosy Foundation to implement a minority robotics team in Guilford County. This was a collaborative effort also with the FORGE.
Team 8757, the Geodebots, was comprised of 6 teens (3 females & 3 males). Our team was 1st place winners at the Guilford District Event, placed 2nd at UNC Pembroke and went to the State Championship and received the Rookie of the Year - Inspiration Award.
