Our Story
Time sure flies when your having fun!
Five years ago, we received a grant from NASA and FIRSTNC to develop a minority team in Guilford County.
Our teens are pioneers in our community by creating career awareness and diversity in these lucrative fields. We are coming on our 5th season competing in FIRSTNC. And we have seen a tremendous impact in the communities we serve.
At the Nehemiah Center, we are developing a pipeline of minorities ready to pursue careers in STEM, robotics and I.T. By pulling back the layers of life and finding that hidden gem (talent) that is already inside all of our youth and teens, we are developing our future innovators and leaders in STEM, Robotics & IT.
That's why we are called the: GEODEBOTS!!
